My wife & I have Regularly visit the Pavilion Cafe over the past 6 months, We have always found a friendly welcoming, Doggy friendly, spacious seating area outside and a wide range of choice from the menu with generous servings too. We have always found the service to be excellent, of course our waiting time to be seated or served may depend on the time we visit, at busy times we can expect to wait longer and we accept that because the food is always well prepared and hot on arrival . On our last visit we both chose the Rost Beef and Yorkshire pudding from the Specials board, (I can certainly Recommend it ) It was most enjoyable and cooked to perfection, Thankyou for your continued service.
I visited today with friends and children. The staff were all lovely. Nothing was too much trouble and very attentive. We were served the drinks and food quickly and they were delicious. Very reasonable prices especially compared to other cafes at parks in the North Leeds area. A really lovely place to sit outside in the sunshine and have a drink and something to eat. Highly recommend and I am going back tomorrow with another friend.
The Pavilion is quite a nice place to stop for breakfast. It's well-kept, clean and bright and dog-friendly. I liked that friendly dogs greeted me as I took my seat. Food was alright, but has gone up in price recently so check recent images under the menu tab. Personally, I'm not a fan of tinned tomatoes on a fried breakfast, and was hoping at least for grilled or fried. Service was okay - unfussy and efficient. Coffee was not bad.
Interesting that my comments would be exactly as previous ones. I negotiated the one way system(?) And was told to wait to order a take away coffee at a designated point. As I was waiting several members of staff came in and out, delivering food clearing tables but I was ignored. When I asked if I should sit elsewhere to be served faster I was spoken to very abruptly. And basically told I didn't have to wait if I didn't want to! After 10 minutes my order was taken. I thought the whole idea of take away was speed. The coffee was fine but I think customer service and procedures need to be improved
Always good friendly staff and quality reasonable priced food. Usually you can get a seat inside no problem unless a particularly busy weekend in the summer, but there is also plenty of outdoor seating too, weather permitting. Onside toilets and wheelchair friendly premises. Free parking in the main park. Cafe is situated between the tennis courts and the skate park and is well managed and open good long hours even on a Sunday. Be nice to improve the atmosphere with a little music in the background and uplighting. I go here regular and will continue to. Thank you everyone.
